Merchant Marketing is a new area of B2B EBANX Marketing, oriented to every Marketing activity that involves EBANX's merchants (client companies). The vision is to help EBANX position its brand as THE solution for business (and not only payments) in LatAm. MM focuses on:

  • Partner with Merchant Services, Customer Success and Farmer (after sales), in order to offer MKT solutions that account managers, biz devs and CS receive/identify from their merchants;
  • Proactively, create and promote MKT solutions (trough packages) that help the merchant to grow (in sales, in branding, in knowledge - so they can conduct their own MKT strategy);
  • "Teach" MKT for LatAm customers and develop mass MKT pieces to merchants that don't have a Marketing team/structure;
  • Promote advisory to merchants about their Marketing strategies in LatAm;
  • Create and delivery products and relationship in touch points, such as events, which generates value to and satisfaction from the merchant;
  • Communicate every action EBANX takes that generates value to the merchant (Customer Support, legal settlements, risk prevention…);
  • Plan, organize and deliver EBANX participation in B2B events worldwide: regional and international conferences/trade shows/fairs.

Besides conquering the world, your activities will be:

On B2B events:

  • Conduct market research and create an annual strategy for engagement at industry events;
  • Develop relationships with conference organizers and decisions makers, to secure speaking opportunities for C-level and chapter managers;
  • Establish relationship with event and media partners abroad;
  • Negotiate contracts prior to closing all deals;
  • Organize on-site needs and manage event details with vendors;
  • Prepare staff attending events with meeting schedules and important information;
  • Coordinate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event attendance;
  • Proactively and respectfully handle issues during planning stages and troubleshooting on-site at events;
  • Manage event budget and incurred expenses;
  • Create a process for post event evaluation and reporting of outcomes.

On Merchant Marketing:

  • Create an annual strategy for Merchant Marketing projects: MKT advisory, communication, events, advertisement, campaigns, digital  and other activities related to Marketing delivery to merchants;
  • Plan each project, raising and managing budget for execution;
  • Engage other teams needed in each project, in order to co-create a calendar and an action plan;
  • Execute and follow through on projects implementation and execution;
  • Measure results and evaluate feedbacks, in order to provide continuous improvement to the projects.

What's mandatory:

  • Proven professional experience in event and MKT project management;
  • Exceptional organization and high-attention to detail;
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels and functions within the company as well as with outside vendors;
  • Strategically manage multiple concurrent projects independently;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, as the majority of work performed will be with international contacts;
  • Oriented to problem solving and "making it happen".
