Merchant Marketing is a new area of B2B EBANX Marketing, oriented to every Marketing activity that involves EBANX's merchants (client companies). The vision is to help EBANX position its brand as THE solution for business (and not only payments) in LatAm. MM focuses on:
Partner with Merchant Services, Customer Success and Farmer (after sales), in order to offer MKT solutions that account managers, biz devs and CS receive/identify from their merchants.
Proactively, create and promote MKT solutions (trough packages) that help the merchant to grow (in sales, in branding, in knowledge - so they can conduct their own MKT strategy).
"Teach" MKT for LatAm customers and develop mass MKT pieces to merchants that don't have a Marketing team/structure.
Create and delivery products and relationship in touch points, such as events, which generates value to and satisfaction from the merchant.
Communicate every action EBANX takes that generates value to the merchant (Customer Support, legal settlements, risk prevention…).

Besides conquering the world, your activities will be:

  • Will "teach" MKT for LatAm customers to merchants;
  • Will be involved in the business analysis to an e-learning program;
  • Will help structuring the e-learning channel;
  • Will create the contents to the channel, such as the personas for LatAm customers, the most effective MKT actions for the merchants' business in the region and tutorials on how to carry on the MKT actions (specially online advertisement);
  • Will interact with merchants, in order to orient and solve doubts about MKT strategy and actions for LatAm;
  • Will develop mass MKT campaign pieces to merchants;
  • Will assist in other MM actions.

What's mandatory:

  • Experience in Marketing (specially advertisement and content MKT) for LatAm customers (university degree in Advertising or other Communication area is differential);
  • Experience in digital MKT/advertising;
  • Communication skills to "teach" what he/she knows about MKT for LatAm;
  • Fluent English (to talk to and "teach" merchants), Spanish and Portuguese (to write mass campaign pieces to LatAm);
  • Oriented to problem solving and ''making it happen''.

What else would we like to see?

  • Will help EBANX merchants to develop their MKT campaigns in LatAm, focusing on advertisement (but paid media strategy)
  • Will offer consulting (in an overview format) about the merchants' paid media strategy, suggesting and reviewing plans and pieces.

- For example, would have checked the pieces below for SheIn in Brazil, avoiding the slips made in language and brand positioning:

- Will develop exclusive online campaigns (focusing on paid media) to the merchants eligible for MKT packages, according to negotiated jobs X counterparts

- Will develop mass MKT campaign pieces to merchants

  • Will "teach" MKT for LatAm customers to merchants:
