Head of Merchant Development

Curitiba, Paraná. Full-time

We are searching for a Head of Merchant Development with a strong passion for developing customer to their full potential while working together with them to build the best experience with EBANX.

The ideal candidate must have strong background in developing customer relationships in a strategic fashion, being able to develop intimacy to participate in customer’s strategic plans and translate their movements into payment services.

He/she needs to have experience in leading sales campaigns, forecasting, budgeting, profitability ownership and other management routines working cross functionally with other areas, being able to present concise executive reporting about his/her team performance.

Experience leading Account Executive team is a must as he/she will be responsible for developing the team to its full potential as well.

It is important to have experience with large and mid-accounts providing tailormade account management, to have an entrepreneurial spirit, to be engaged, autonomous and able to learn fast.

Knowledge of financial services is and must and of the payments industry is highly appreciated for this position.

Besides conquering the world, your activities will be:

  • Build Merchant Development strategy, both short term and long term views and respective plans to execute strategy with other areas of the organization;
  • Lead team to execute strategy plans thoroughly, able to overcome barriers and propose alternatives to meet targets.
  • Lead  team to Monitor, measure, and negotiate with merchants and propose strategies to improve their results;
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets
  • Maximize volume and revenue in accounts by cross and upselling;
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with the client, leading them to an amazing experience;
  • Respond to client’s demands and correctly address the other areas;
  • Work closely with the other teams at EBANX to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Conduct strategical periodical meetings with clients
  • Use Salesforce as your main tool;

What's mandatory:

  • Fluent English and Spanish (we will test it);
  • Experience Leading account managers or business development reps of 5+ years;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Economics or related;
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills;
  • Analytical Skills and attention to details;
  • Self-manageable profile;
