EBANX Integration team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) to play a key role within the Commercial department. This TSE will join a team responsible for providing technical consulting and supporting as well as product guidance to enterprise Merchants looking to integrate EBANX as a payment processing services in Latin America. This is a Merchant-facing role where TSE will work in conjunction with both pre and post-sales teams facilitating negotiations and technical solution by performing technical selling of EBANX products and services.  

We are looking for a dynamic individual with fast, innovative thinking to deliver strong communication, excellent Merchant interaction and exceptional troubleshooting skills. The right person will have a solid business acumen and can thrive in a highly collaborative (and highly supportive) team environment.


Besides conquering the world, your activities will be:

Work in collaboration with Sales, Account Management, Product and Solution engineers to help to conduct business requirements to fit Merchant needs 

  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet Merchant needs
  • Be familiar with the technical details of EBANX products and understand how our services can add value to Merchant's business
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Work with key internal stakeholders, including Product, Legal, Risk & Compliance and Development teams to address specific Merchant business requirements or new product features
  • Solving Merchant problems
  • Handle post-live communication and follow-ups with enterprise Merchants
  • Act as main technical point of contact for all implementation-related activities throughout the integration lifecycle
  • Facilitate setting up Merchant accounts, provide technical support and guide Merchants through testing and pre-launch activities

What's mandatory:

  • Experience in technical background
  • University degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Communication skills to translate API / technical terms to business
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English
  • A solid technical background
  • Sound judgement and good business sense
  • Ability to quickly assess and troubleshoot integration issues
  • Ability to successfully interact and dynamically adapt to communication styles with all levels of client organizations including C-level executives, managers, and technical/IT staff
  • Team working ability
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Independence


What else would we like to see?

  • Experience with payments (Credit Card, Banking, Online, Offline), especially with ecommerce systems, payments gateways and payment processors is highly valued
  • Broad understanding of technical concepts and payment processing
  • Strong presentation skills (Presenting to internal and external Business units and Technical teams)
  • Effective time management skills to work with multiple Merchants concurrently
  • Any expose with software development
