We are looking for a professional Product Manager to work and help building with our Product Team, of our Local Payments multidisciplinary team.

Our mission is to ensure the best experience for all EBANX’s clients, from our merchants to their end-users, through the strategic management of our products and the execution of projects, always maintaining a good relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

The Product Manager plays a pivotal role in the construction of our team, in the delivery of our product roadmap, and champions a specific area or component of the product, such as the merchant experience, customer experience, integrations, or our internal tools – identifying, prioritizing, documenting and communicating the work that needs to be delivered within the team.

You will work collaboratively in a cross-functional & Agile-oriented team with colleagues in the Product Team and cross-functionally with colleagues in other areas of the business (eg Sales, Technology, Marketing, Accountant, Fraud Prevention) to evolve existing products and deliver new ones, with the latest user experience best practices.

  • Deeply understand our customers and merchants
  • Deeply understand data generated by our services and process
  • Deeply understand our business and the market that we are into
  • Evaluate opportunities and determine what will be build, delivered managing our backlog
  • Rationally evaluate if is worth building a feature taken data-driven and customer-centric decisions
  • Team building and engagement
  • Understand the problems we are trying to solve and work closely with engineers, designers, data scientists and other analysts from inception to ship
  • Evaluate and promote partnership with vendors and other third-party companies
  • Define key metrics in order to measure the success of our products and of our company, including financial results
  • Be aware of what happen in our operation in daily basis
  • Liaising directly with product users (internally and externally) and with internal stakeholders to determine product needs for a given area or component of the product
  • Develop strong relationships with your stakeholders (internal and external) ensuring regular communication
  • Act as a primary point of contact and domain expert for your product area
  • Research, define and create solid Product Briefs
  • Research, define and create solid features specifications for new and current products
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build world-class products
  • Help define the methodology of work of the product area


What's mandatory:

  • Technology background (education or work), being experience in engineering or computer science strongly preferred
  • Be smart, creative and persistent
  • Understand technology in order to devise backend solutions as a product
  • High experience with product management
  • Passionate about being part of something special, and for building and delivering great products that deliver value to our customers and make a difference
  • High levels of empathy with our product users and able to understand their product needs
  • Can work effectively with technical team
  • A strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Strong experience in the whole Product Development Cycle
  • Great communication skills in English
  • Technical fluency
  • A quick learner, passionate about your work and driven to get things done

  • Finance background/experience
  • Previous experience with payments or e-commerce
  • Experience in working with physical point of sales and terminals (e.g. POS, TEF, etc)
