Strategic Payments Partnerships - Argentina

Argentina | Commercial & Client Support | Full-time


We are looking for a professional to be the point of contact with EBANX partners in Argentina such as acquirers, issuing banks, associations. The Strategic Payments Partnerships Argentina will handle daily activities and Business Operations challenges and represent EBANX and our international Merchants in all this matters.

In this role, your activities will be:

  • Actively monitor pre-defined KPI with the partners and the e-commerce ecosystem on the country, aiming to improve the operations and the overall consumer experience. Not limited to, but some KPI that the candidate will be validating with EBANX partners: monitoring approval rate, BIN list updates, whitelisting of BINs, updating risk scoring engines parameters for optimization, monitoring SLA for critical processes (e.g. chargebacks, refunds, document validation, etc)
  • You will work closely with the Business Operations Team at the EBANX Headquarters and will have access to tools and reports from the overall operation. However, it is fundamental that the Strategic Payments Partnerships Magager has a critical understanding and view of its market, in a way that can guide the approach and discussion with the local partners.

  • Participate on Business Reviews of EBANX and its Partners. Provide data and insights on the operation, as well as work as a team to prepare and attend these business reviews.

    What's mandatory:
  • Analytical skills: The role demands data set and extraction from the main DW. Strong experience with DW/BI tools (tableau, MSFT Power BI) will be required, as well as excel and spreadsheets

  • Team-work spirit: As mentioned above, interaction with EBANX HQ team will be daily. You will have an environment to work and perform under minimum supervision but that requires high relationship management skills;

  • Relationship: Deal with people with different cultural background;

  • Problem solving: you are able to  find innovative solutions to a wide range of business problems. Pro-activity is very important.

  • Project Management: involves not only coming up with strategies but also executing them, lead as well as deliver initiatives on time and within budget.

  • Spanish and English are mandatory, all levels (writing , speaking, listening)

  • Experience with e-commerce and Card Not Present business, having worked as a merchant, gateway/PSP or on the acquiring/issuing side

  • Experience with merchant support processes, escalation processes and related areas is highly relevant. Although the person will not run these processes individually, will be involved on communication with EBANX partners

  • At least 5 years with e-commerce/CNP business, 8 to 10 years of professional experience as a whole;
